That is a petaminx. It's a 9x9 dodecohedrical cube. I've solved one once and I don't EVER want to do it again. It takes FAR too long.
So you solved a petaminx, eh? Well, this one time, I had a girl figured out. The worlds hardest puzzle.
I bet that if you handed me that exact one in the picture, I could solve it right away.

2x2x2: less than a second (Got a lucky scramble and saw the solution immediately)
3x3x3: 36 seconds.
4x4x4: About 2 minutes.
5x5x5: 10 minutes.

when i was 8 i had a cheap rubix cube, i took off the coloured stickers and stuck them back on making it look like i had solved it.. i needed to confess

That can't be moved because the shapes can't fit through the smaller areas.

the biggest I can solve now is the 7x7x7 but I would have no idea what to do with this
