Handle like shit compared to what?

in general...those old ones were really floppy and awkward to maneuver. they could get up and move if it was turbo, but they still felt like you were riding on wooden pretzels filled with stale marshmallows

What Honda do you drive?

I got a 2002 RSX type-S, a 1990 Accord thats a work car, I still have my first car from back in high school (1985 Honda civic station wagon) and my wife has a 1996 Honda Odyssey

sweet I those civic! I always wanted a EK hatch (but what Honda enthusiast dosnt?) yeah that little AWD wagon is soooo awsome! I want to build it somehow and keep the awd, but I havent really looked into it to hard. my dad was driving it to save gas and clipped a cow. so the front end is fucked :(

I think you can just mate a d16z6 (95 ex/SOHC Si) with the AWD tranny and they make lots of go fast parts for that.

I considered that once upon a time I believe, or maybe a "mini me" swap, I occasionally buy the parts to fix the front as I find them in salvage, it harder to find a wagon they are going the way of the dinosaur :P, but i'll dig deeper now that you got Honda brain juices flowing! I might just sell my RSX to build this wagon :P

a mini me swap is that. but the lazy way (just the motor head) and the front end parts should be universal for the generation. like in 98 the fenders/hood/bumpers were interchangeable from sedan/hatch/coupe and I'm fairly certain it worked for the 92-95 gen too.
