and Foos were actually better than Nirvana. There are not that many new bands or side projects that were more successful than the former. Just look at +44 and Angels and Airwaves for instance. +44 still retained the Blink sound whereas Angels and Airwaves was something different but they both sucked!

The funny thing is he really showed how talented he is when he teamed up with JPJ to create Them Crooked Vultures, they rock the **** out of everybody!

Honestly imo. Nirvana was limited. In about 3 or 4 years, nobody would have liked them. But Foo Fighters. Look at them. Like a decade strong, and still going.

In what way was Nirvana "limited?" Sure, the songs were almost all really simple, but each or their three albums were completely different from each other, not to mention all the B-sides and demos they did.

Pic related. It's a compilation of various B-sides.

from a neutral perspective, they both suck compared to Blink and were less successful. Personally, I still like a select few of AvA songs where Saturday Love is a choon! +44 had 2 really good songs (and 1 decent song) but the rest of the album was really dull. Boxcar Racer had 2 really good songs but again, the rest were dull.

Dammit is forever my favourite song of Blink

Really? to each is their own. I still pop in Cheshire Cat all the time

hmmm to each of their own but me personally, it's the one album I don't really like. If you're talking about their old classic stuff, nothing beats Dude Ranch in my opinion.
