It's commonly accepted that the USSR = Russia seeing as how Russia was the largest country making up that union. It wasn't until the dissolution of the USSR that the different break away countries began to define themselves separately.

Intriguing. This one picture seems to address the issues that people in America have regarding crops being treated with growth hormone and GMOs. While the price of an american cucumber is favorable, the quality is less than standard. OP is trying to show us just how much our food is different culturally, and that to meet the great demands in america, the quality of our foods has decreased dramatically. Quantity doesn't always mean quality, and I realize that now thanks to OP.
