Ah ropefish is a type she likes that's what it was, I bet the eels would interest her too though if I knew some safe types and stuff.

What is the name of the type of eels? They sound like something my girlfriend would love to have she also likes those fish that look like eels that aren't although I can't recall their name at the moment.

Well I've had trouble figuring out what kind of eels I have, I think the pet store had them labelled incorrectly so I could show you a picture an I could continue trying to find the name which I would gladly do. BUT, I do have another fish that looks like an eel, an he is a species of Bichir. Creepy looking and fun to watch but people say not to trust them with tank mates that could fit in their mouth. I haven't had any issues with ours though, seems pretty chill so long as kept well fed. I will reply with pictures very soon. I will be taking them tonight. c:

if you can post a pic of them i might be able to help identify them. i clean fishtanks for a living and have seen/dealt with most types.

hard to tell but guessing it's about 10 inches long using the zebra danios(?) as scale? guessing maybe it's Moringua raitaborua (spaghetti eel or paddle tail eel)

Well they are hiding right now. They rarely come out. So we'll see.
