Man, I don't get it. What's so bad about free healthcare? I for one would be fine with paying higher taxes in return for free healthcare. Am I alone in that?

No, you have a whole wide world to travel to socialist countries with free healthcare, hell go to canada, but this country wasn't founded on taxes. In fact it was found on the belief of no taxes which has in turn turned into fewer taxes... which will turn into more taxes...

Correction, it was founded on no taxes WITHOUT REPRESENTATION. Which means taxes still apply.

Yeah, and how did that work out?

Well, doctors don't give a shit cause their paid on bullshit government wages and on top of that, it takes weeks if not months to get an appointment. People are divided into who is worth the governments time instead of choosing what they want with their own insurance. A smoker is viewed as less deserving of healthcare even though their just as human as us. Free health =/= Good healthcare.

I know a person who lives in England, and it's nothing like that. You get an appointment a little slower than it takes to get one here, a day or two at worst. If you have a critical injury, you get rushed into the ER immediately, just like here. They don't leave you bleeding to death in the waiting room, lol.

Well then you've been told bullshit, ever been through army healthcare? It's the fucking thing and you hate every appointment you go to. Quit going off what you're told and experience some of first hand, then form an opinion.
