I'm not sure that being raised by two lesbians would give you insight on the inner workings of heterosexual woman's minds. I don't know any lesbians well but I know sever gay men quite well and in general they have as much in common with straight men personality wise as women do, they're totally different animals when it comes to their brains so I assume the same could be said for gay women. Although feminists are just one baseball team away from being lesbians so maybe that's the deciding factor. There's also the possibility it was a joke and wasn't meant to be taken entirely seriously.
