Here's a question. Has Funnyjunk ever had a large scale purpose Alliance for members?

I know Something awful has Goonswarm and Reddit I think has TEST.
I've been on eve for about a month or so and haven't found a solid corp with a large alliance that I want to join.

I tend to avoid large alliances for the fact I dont realy need to deal with the political drama.

Im in a fairly small alliance 14 corps make up ours.

Im currently in a new alliance and we are in nulli's space and have taken 2 systems already, to bad the rent is going to be a bitch to get every month, its something like 5-6 billion isk :(

Yeah, the ratting is good and our miners well...mine, so we just keep in the grove of things we can have the isk within a couple days, then its all ours for the taking.

Yeah we lost our hole,tower,everything last night apparently. Oh well. Shit happens.

So far as far as I know,one Orca,One pod,and one ship hangar.

So FJ has never organized its own corps and alliances?

as far as I know theres only a few of us who play eve online.

If you don't find a good group of people to play with, the game will get extremely tiresome. I haven't managed to find a lively enough crowd to play with, so I am thinking of leaving the game, That or selling my soul to Goonswarm or getting back into Flying Dangerous again, they all seem to be bastards.

I was wanting to play EVE Online but then I heard that it was a monthly sub (not able to do so) and that you have to slave yourself to get into things, but after you get into a big...Alliance? The game basically becomes free. Could someone explain that to me? (Do they sell the in-game money and give you some or...?

1)yes and no. Theres ways you cna make it free for you(get good skills,and make lots of money,and you can buy your game time in game,right now,in my region,1 PLEX[timecard about 14.99 in USD] runs about 550M-660 million. While,it is a lot of money,you can easily make that in a few weeks with decent skills while mining or doing other things.

In eve,you are a Demigod. Immortal to most people. When you die,you are given a new life in a new body. You lose whatever you had on you,so cargo,ship,ammo,items to fit the ship with,are lost,unless you can claim them before the guy who killed you takes them.

Your skills CAN take a hit but thats if you are a tardmonkey who doesnt update his clone. I have about 5 million skill points and my clone can hold 6.1 million skill points. As long as your current clone doesnt exceed your replacement clone,you wont lose skill points when you die.

And no Im not in a very large corp or a very large alliance.

Ohhh I see...wow thats nice being able to buy game time using in-game currency. Will see if one day I can try it out...

The tengu is a hell of a lot different to the tengu, the tengu is just a machine when it comes to ratting, which is my favorite pass time on eve, especially when i'm in null, mining's all well and good to make a ton of money but in the end you still need to get up to a trade hub to make a lot of iskies. but hey, if you are a minmatar pilot then go ahead :)

I hear lots of love for the Tengu,and I have seen what they are capable of. But I just don't like missiles that much.

And the proteus looks like a space penis. Like 95% of Gallente ships

Yeah the proteus can tank really well, its just missiles are basically easy mode on eve ^^

On occasion. Right now Im building my core skills(and my industrial backing) so I can afford to pvp more. It took 5-6 ships to blow up my barge this morning. And that was just a Procurer.

I am a bomber jockey,I just havent had the money to afford a new bomber since I lost my old one to a sleeper scram

yeah, amarr the system (amarrian's homesystem) its the 2nd largest trade hub (because of how close it ts to jita)

Well,I got popped in WH space in my Procurer(best barge for the buck). Stupid me didnt make it unprobable. I should have done the ECCM/Warp Core Stab build I have. But I did kick the shit out of a hound before I blew up.

But I just cant believe it took a Hound,Rook,Proteus,Sabre and a Cynable to kill me. Go awesome resits! Bastards didnt even give me back my clone...

If you want crazy resists + tank, just look to the Navy Scorpion! 8 mids and a 5% per lvl to resists in Caldari BS

Trust in the rust baby. Im minmatar right now. I cant fly Caldari BS's yet. Im working to a Kitsune eventually.

Dat pricetag on the Navy Scorp..shes a sexy ship,but a very ugly price tag on her.

for the price of a navy scorp, its better get a rattlesnake if you want tank, they are holding steady at around 500mill +- and better still is you can easilly get a passive shield tank of over 2.5 K dps while putting out over 1K dps. only thing is that its a real skill intensive ship, your going to need maxed out or damn near maxed out drone skills to fly properly. another thing is if you need isk, incursions! HQ sites pay 31.5 mill a site and 7K LP average site in a good fleet is about 15 mins or so

The Typhoon is without a doubt,the *most* skill point intensive ship in the game(at least for its tier) You literally need almost all your skills at 5 just to fit it decently,and even more so to tank it well.

I <3 my Phoon,but shes a hanger bitch. The Tempest gets the workout.

Mostly fly Winmatar ships myself - they're so rewarding and there's no easy-mode button like Caldari have

We Winmatar took all their garbage,and a soldering iron and managed to patch enough of a flying scrapheap to get it to space. And kick ass with it.
