Here's original image. Google "learning curve" to find it. For some people game it's too hard if it's harder than WoW, but Dwarf Fortress is still piss easy compared to EVE Online.

Some stuff EVE players say:
1. When an EVE player leaves for WoW, the average IQ of both games goes up.
2. WoW holds your hand from 1-85, and makes sure you get a cookie regardless if you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place.

I have played EVE Online for a while, it isn't that hard...
(and no, I'm not saying wow is hard either, EVE is still harder than that)

Join a corp part of a major alliance, go to contested null sec or C5 WH, then come back and say it's easy.

Meh, maybe you're right. I'm not much of an online gamer, but I got into EVE a little. I never found it to be all that easy (pvp-wise at least).

... then again, maybe I suck.

If you are new to a game, every game will pvp wise be ridiculously hard. You'll always play with people who got years of experience in playing.
