True, but think of the net worth increase from an old phone to that car. Even if it took 2 years, it's still quite an increase in net worth.

2 years for a porsche boxter? At 17 years old?

That's still impressive as **** .

not really he traded a 1975 ford bronco. which is more valuable then the Porsche by a few thousand so if he stopped at 13 trades. it would be better. (stop while ahead.)

Hell, I'm 17 and I barely make 2k a year with work(I don't work a lot due to my work being quite seasonal).

working 40 hours a week at minimum wage I can make around 36k in a year before taxes.

ofc most places pay a fair bit more than minimum wage and you can work alot more than 20 hours a week.

I'm guessing that you mean dollars? As that'd be insane pay in the UK haha.
I haven't been able to get a full time job as I'm still in full time education, and most people don't want to hire someone who's leaving in about 8 months for university.

But I get by on what I'm on!

$15.96/h AUD, 40 hours a week 56 weeks a year comes to 35,750 AUD. At the current exchange rate that's 27,527 euros or 37,180 usd.

I honestly have trouble understanding how some people can't make 10k in a year. I know min wage differs country to country but that's like, minimum to survive really.

If I dropped out of education and moved out I would be able to get that much money, but I don't actually need to (And it would probably be very counter productive to my future if I did.
