Meh they have a market, it may not be what we are into but its still some peoples kind of music. They get paid to do what they love, just like any other artist or band, honestly im jealous of that i would love to be paid to do what i love and have people love what i do.

People like you don't understand feedback loops. They became successful, thus the media started following them, not the other way around. The media exposure pushes them further into the spotlight, attracting more attention. This is the snowball effect, the clinical term being positive feedback loop.
You'd be amazed to find that you aren't special, and you're not really any smarter or "liberated" or whatever you feel puts you above others. The biggest difference, nay, the only difference between you and them is that they don't go around getting bothered by things that are entirely trivial matters of other people's lives.

Well young girls normally love that sort of thing, look at the 90's girls where obsessed with boy bands, my best mates little sister and all her friends love them and they are like 13 or 14, some people just seem to love the clean cut look and clean music, its the same in a way with Jedward the irish twins, i have no idea why people like them but they do all the same, im sure they wonder how we like metal or rap or whatever ur choice in music is.
