Keynesian economics in combination with socialism destroying countries since 1936. And making sure capable people are held down as much as possible. YAY

Why not a photo of that new F-22 raptor you helped pay for.

They shouldn't tax your income, they should tax what you buy.
That way you don't get stupid tax laws where if you work for your money you get 30% tax, but if your invest it and have your money earn money, you only get 5%

One of my favorite movie quotes:
"Listen, I'm a big supporter of fixing potholes and erecting swing sets and building shelters. I am *more* than happy to pay those taxes. I'm just not such a big fan of the percentage that the government uses for national defense, corporate bailouts, and campaign discretionary funds. So, I didn't pay those taxes. "

Don't you fools realize that without taxes, we would be in even worse debt, and probably not be "america" anymore?
User avatar #95 - dabombmanater (01/24/2013) [+] (2 replies)
Honestly my beef with taxes was always that it went to the already wealthy politicians who get to make there paychecks even bigger when they want. I'd much rather see it go to the less fortunate. This post is also BS anyway though, I quite enjoy having things like fireman and publicly funded schools.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government.
It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury.
From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.
The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years."

- Alexis de Tocqueville

*(largesse, largess
1. the generous bestowal of gifts, favours, or money

Actually, they should send you a picture of the soldiers whose paycheck you are paying, since that's where most of your tax money goes.

I was born with a terminal illness, for which I must undergo treatments every day, and it wares me down to the point of being bedridden multiple times a month. I am only able to work part time and I'm less dependable than a high schooler showing up to that job because I get sick so much. Going to college for me would be an 8 year joke in which I would rack up debt that I could never pay off because working part time doesn't get you ahead in life. Social security is the only thing that keeps me alive due to the fact that no part time job would pay off my 50k per year medical costs (assuming I have a good year and don't get hospitalized from getting the flu), so to people with an attitude like yours I really only have one thing to say.

Thanks for the tax money bro.

Actually most of it is wasted or thrown away, hence overgrowing debt. This is especially true in America with the deficit. This economic stupidity is sure to increase inflation devaluing the value of money and driving up prices.

So in essence. Well. We're pretty much ****** either way.

This is the german deficit: http://www.staatsverschuldung.de/schuldenuhr.htm
The german debt amounts to about 2,116 trillion dollars. Makes you wonder where all the money goes and where it's supposed to come from.

That's the obama way.. People who don't want to work are getting free money from people who are working. Gotta love ******* lazy people weighing 300+ pounds and complain about not having enough money for food and healthcare.
