It is just a common interest shared by some of the community members, just like any other game. We won't try to force it on anybody, or call you any less of a person for not, though we would recommend the game and soundtrack.

Finally content I can relate to. The coming of KS was like the resurrection of the brony or bending fandoms. Tons of members, all discussing their favorite characters and parts of it. While they may not like to be compared it is another fandom that was swept through here, bringing members together under common interest. And that's a good thing.

Hi! Dirty anon here. I started playing katawa shoujo since funnyjunk feelers recommended it. I have never played these visual novels before, and I had suspicions that this is some weird shit and Im too old(21) for this but it's not like that. Liked the ride so far after 6-7 hours though I picked Emi by accident. Now I cant turn back and re pick. Not now. It would only hurt me more...

I'm on FJ fairly frequently and I'm also subscribed to the Katawa Shoujo group here at FJ; and yet for all the KS posts I've seen I think like only one makes its to the front page a day. (And usually just barely makes its to Front page)
Unless your referring to the frequency of KS uploads, I don't really see how its a problem, or is just perceived as annoying.
