It's a trick play used in youth football. The quarter back will say something like "Coach! This is the wrong ball!" The center will then hand him the ball through his legs, much like snapping the ball, but slower, this puts the ball into play. Then all he has to do is walk like he's taking the ball back to his coach and take off when he's clear.
