Um, If someone left me a 5$ tip on an over hundred dollar order, I wouldn't let them fucking leave, and neither would my boss. that's barely 5%.
Actually my boss would say like, "I appreiate your buisness, and our waitresses work very hard to keep your experience ehre welcoming. They don't have to, but they do."
in his silly french accent.

Wouldn't let them leave? Ya the cheap tip is rude but still, tips are not mandatory, you don't HAVE to tip. If it was they would have a tip included in the bill like some places do. I tip generously if it was good service but if I had a horrible server I would only tip 5% and wouldn't feel it's unreasonable. It's still giving the person something on top of the price of the meal as a bonus, even if it was horrible service. IMO

Then bring your own damn food to your table. You want prompt service, and a friendly smile, good atmosphere and a nice food experience, then you tip.
Otherwise, i'll bring you your food when i feel like it, not refill your drinks and say "you sure you wanna eat this greasy burger? you're getting kinda big" when i deliver your shit.
I'm doing my job, you want it don't well you tip. end of story. I get paid wether your food comes to you cold or warm, ya cunt.

Let me break it down for you.
Your job is to bring me my food and provide service. That right there = Zero bucks. It's your fucking job.
You come promptly and are polite= 5%
You refill my drinks are check up every so often to see if the table needs more=10-15% up to 70 bucks
Make the experience unique and then you can get a damn % on the bill past that.
Don't act so entitled to a big tip because I would get you fired all the same if I got shitty or disrespectful service.
I have actually had rude waiters and I file a complaint immediately. Never see them again after that. You EARN the tip. Doing the damn basics of your job doesn't entitle to a tip.

Right. Exactly.
So you can have Cold food, one drink and have a shitty time. And you can tip me nothing.
If she was a waiter and provided good service on a big order, which has her running around refilling drinks, keeping you happy and walking back and fourth, hopefully making you want to come back, Then you tip her well.
I tip 4$ on anyhting, assuming 10-20% is lower than 4$.
I say 4 because I can get 2 toonies easier than a five.
It's understood you're going to tip, especially on a large order. Just like its expected I'm going to do my job well.
No tip means next time you come in I'm gonna be a no-tip-worthy waiter. Deal.
