I'm not worried about the people have guns, I'm worried about the ones who don't.
Imagine the scene: some scruffy, dirty guy comes up to the office,

"Oh god he's after the children!!"

No, I get the point. I'm saying that it's a terrible point. If you give someone a gun, and tell them that they need to stop all threats to the children, they'll start seeing threats where none exist.
