I lost my mother, grandfather and grandmother all within a year. My grandparents due to illness and my mother from suicide. Allow me to extend a hug to you over the internet, it's not much, but it's all I can give. I've been where you are, and I know how it feels. Don't let yourself become addicted to the sadness and remember to smile every now and again. For happiness is the only defense we have against depression. Hang out with some friends, go for a walk at night, stare at the stars, learn to play an instrument. It ain't the end of the world. Whether or not you believe in it, I hope he's in heaven looking down on you and comforting you still.

Death is incredibly hard to cope with, especially when it's someone close to us. But you know what, we can all get through it c:
My grandfather passed on last year (mid 2012) and I was closer to him than most of my family. But I kept reminding myself that he's gone, he's not coming back and I accepted it. I know that sounds morbid at first, but the beauty of it is; I remembered that he was my biggest inspiration, influence, hero, teacher, friend. I remembered all the good times I had with him and was very thankful for the time I had with him. So, I'm just suggesting that maybe check out some old photos of good times you had with your father, reminisce a little, fuckin cry til you can't. You'll feel much better and be able to get on with your life.
