This is all just useless stuff that is made simply to confuse.
For example, instead of zooming in, you can zoom OUT infinitely.
When doing this, all the numbers on the line would get so close together they would be indistinguishable. Thus, every point on the line from infinity to negative infinity can be seen and expressed as a single point on the line.
