OR people could actually teach their kids not to be little ******* ***** at restaurants. My mother said she never had a goddamn problem with me at restaurants when I was little. We never had problems with my brother when he was little. Teach your kids not to be asshats.

I work in a restaurant and I can't tell you how many times I see people bring their kids in and they run all over the place, crawl all under the tables, mess with the condiments and jellies and it drives me crazy... if I were to act anything like that I'd get my ass popped in front of everyone, which is exactly what I plan to do once I have kids of my own. I'm not gonna let my little ***** get away with everything.

kids can be unpredictable esp at a very young age. i can deal if they start to cry etc, that is if the parent takes them out of the eating area to shut them up. i cnat stand it when kids act up and the parents just ignore it. yes you cant give in to every fit they have but seriously youre in a public place and no one wants to hear that **** .

sorry for the mild rant. i also work some place that kids act up alot, so i have little patience for it.

I think it's hard to be a parent. I mean, when you aren't at work/school/etc, you're devoting all of your time with your child. Yes, it's not pleasant to hear a crying child in a restaurant, but I think parents should be able to get out every now and then.

I would rather go out with my friend who has 3 kids than my friend who has 1 because those 3 are better behaved, and one is a 10 mo old, than the ******* 3 yr old. ******* parents.

all children have the potential to be bratty. it's usually a combination of being tired and bored. only people that are parent's seem to understand that a kid screaming or crying in public doesn't automatically make that kid a brat or the parents ****** parents. it's also pretty unpredictable sometimes.

you're right. but the ****** parents are the ones who sit there and smile at each other and talk about how cute their little demons are while the kids are screaming their heads off. decent parents will take a crying kid out of the restaurant, calm them down, and then bring them back in. it's completely possible. trust me, my kid turns 18 in a couple of months.

Yeah, because it's so easy to just so easy to leave your kid at home.
How about instead of being pissed at the kid, lets get mad at the parents for not putting the kid on check.
Honestly, I'm more mad if the kid's PMSing and the parents try to ignore it and don't care about common courtesy towards everyone at the diner, while I don't care as long as the parent tells the kid to shut up or do something.
