I use to live in Alberta, glad I got my ass to B.C (Specifically the Gulf Islands). The most we usually get is rain here.

I used to live in BC. The weather is quite predictable and mild.

Western BC is wet as shit with little/no snow. I love rain, hate the shit out of snow, so it works for me.

The winters are nice. The summers are too sticky and humid for me there.

Yeah, seriously. I live on the east coast now where it's not bad at all, but I spent a winter in Saskatoon where we spent a week below forty.

ikr I'm in the GTA too and there is no fucking snow to be seen anywhere.
User avatar #68 to #61 - TheRedDragon (01/21/2013) [-]
Huh. I was always under the impression that the Great Lakes get lots of snow. Shows how much I know.
User avatar #80 to #68 - rulebysecrecy (01/21/2013) [-]
when we get the odd wind coming from the south, fuck yeah theres snow like no tomorrow, but most of our wind patterns come from north and west. leaving it very dry, cold and windy, with little precipitation due to the amount of travel the clouds have to do to get to toronto. we always hear about how buffalo gets like 30-40cm (1-1.5ft) of snow, and we're mad jealous.
User avatar #76 to #68 - aahrg ONLINE (01/21/2013) [-]
nah, the lake regulates our temperature, so we have milder climate than alberta or somewhere else inland
User avatar #65 to #61 - bokkos (01/21/2013) [-]
What the hell is it with Toronto and never having snow?
User avatar #75 to #65 - rulebysecrecy (01/21/2013) [-]
Toronto is part of the most southern parts of the country right? and most of our precipitation comes from the north and west, so when the clouds form over Hundsons bay most of the precipitation falls on quebec, and northern ontario, timmins, ottawa, cornwall, etc. and when it comes from the west, the coulds have to go over the rockies so it drops alot in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. so by the time the winds bring the storm, theres not much left for us :( plus im sure the mass pollution from toronto and hamilton doesnt help either.
