Actually. It's kind of just Spike Lee complaining that Quentin Tarantino made a movie about slavery, considering Quentin's lack of "seriousness" in his films Spike Lee feels a movie like Django Unchained is disrespectful to the history of American slavery

There have been many reported media outlets that have criticized Django Unchained, Spike Lee may be one of the more prominent figures to have publicly displayed his displeasure with the movie (and subsequently with Tarantino) but many reviewers and even normal people have shown disdain for the film as well.

Yeah though sometimes they just kidnapped them directly from their tribes. But your point is right. Human trading has always existed in all sorts of variations. Still exists today. White people are no more guilty than any other race. That there are lots of black people in America today only shows that the slaves were actually treated well enough to be able to form families and have children. Slaves throughout history were often treated much worse living under shitty conditions and worked to death in a few years.
But of course if you point this out to people you're suddenly a racist.

Not to mention that only about a 1/5 of all the slaves taken from Africa (about 7 mil) went to The United States. Most went to Brazil and the Caribbeans
