So? People tend to think that they're actually doing something. Raising awareness won't do shit since the only people that look at these photos are half brained 12 year olds.

Yeah I meant as in at the very very very least in highlights that there is a problem, it's better than 500,000 12 year olds know that Africans have little water than had they not know, just trying to put a positive skew on it .

And what happens if they know? They'll grow up with the same idiotic minds; believing that the liking of a photo can save a starving child.

The picture says "like if you're against thirsty people" I don't think anyone is literally thinking that by liking the photo they are providing water. My point is that however dumb these Facebook posts are, with both their negative and positive points, one of the positives is that it will highlight an issue that the person reading might not have know about.

The negatives outweigh the positive.
