Ah, it's funny because most countries depicted in this work more hours, more days per year and have less religious or national holidays and take less vacations than Germany.

It's funny because Germany has the highest GDP of all EU countries.

Wish the Spanish problem was just we're lazy as **** ... but sadly it isn't.
Pretty funny though.

Basically:
- A housing bubble that burst.
- Bank junk bonds.
- Corrupt and negligent politicians that don't do what they should.
- A pretty high unemployment rate.

We've called this conference to solve the world's problems, not to fight about the problems of our past! And since I'm the only country who seems to know how to run a meeting, we'll follow my rules from here on out: Eight minutes each for speeches, no chit chat about side deals, and absolutely no going over the time limit! Now if you want to go make sure you're prepared and raise your hand, but do so in a way that does not mock any salutes of my country's past!

I'm sorry.

Actually, the reason Britain is fighting the EU is because we are being treated like a bottomless pit of cash. We had to veto a plan that would see us footing the majority of the Greek bailout, we also seem to be the only ones following the EU regulations on extradition of known terrorists and immigration, we are being forced to accommodate a hate preacher on the grounds of Human Rights while other EU countries ship theirs off ASAP, and asylum seekers are traversing the entirety of Europe to get to us because non of the other EU countries will take them. Hell, France heave repeatedly refused to remove the camps at their ports full of people queuing to cross into Britain.

I'm amazed people still don't know the name of these short comics.
It's not country balls, it's POLANDBALL!
They have their own facebook, wiki and everything.

Makes me wonder, if the nazis managed to win the war, becoming rulers of erutope, would we advance faster? Free speach, free thinking, the possibility to make own choices might be the one thing holding us back from achieving great things. Then again, I can do whatever I want now, so I don't really care.

Britain one of the only smart countries in all of this eurozone crap. They kept their currency which has clearly been a very smart move. They also give a lot of money to the EU and other countries even if they do not make as much as a lot of the others due to immigrants and its benefits system.
User avatar #16 to #15 - tealcanaan (01/20/2013) [-]
I agree they get to keep power over their economy, and their help in the preservation of the EU is necessary because most of their trade partners are in the EU sort of making them dependent to their success by default.
