You're a fucking 20 year old, that makes you a grown man. And it was meant for families as in, mother, father, children, not singular young adults and teenage boys.

The worst form of it's audience is the splintergroup, known as "cloppers", who find the show's characters, ponies mind you, sexually attractive and enthralling.
"Normal" bronies can be slightly compared to these individuals. As much as they do not find the characters sexually attractive, they do find an interest in the characters as people who are continuously polite and pleasant to be around because of their kind behavior. Thus it can be concluded that bronies find an interest in the show as a way to escape the sad ways of their own lives, in which they do not receive kindness for whatever reasons, and get their thrills of endorphines and social interaction from this childrens TV show.

It's not so much about watching the show, but it's shoving it down other people's throats, like with religion. All of those die-hard bronies who post brony reaction pictures that aren't even related to the content is what we get upset about. I have no problem with what other people watch.
