See, here's the thing. Ads are how people make money on the internet. If enough people used Adblock, people who do the internet for a living stop making money and have to spend the time they'd normally use making cool stuff for the internet on finding a new way to make money from it by working around Adblock. People who don't use it aren't out of the loop and don't know that it exists, they just know how the internet works and don't want to break it.
