people act like science is perfect, but its not. Its an imperfect system governed by imperfect people. you never hear about someone taking out a crowed bazar for science. but the man who altered the data on the experiment that linked flu shots to autism has done A LOT of harm in the world.

Science is a quest for knowledge. It's free from valuation and can neither be perfect or imperfect. The ways of achieving this knowledge and the ways to use it can be labeled as "good" or "bad" though, which means only scientists and/or the people, who use scientific results, for whatever reason,can be targets for assessments.

That's actually the point of science. To determine where we're wrong, and try to figure out what's right.

Of course it isn't perfect, nothing is. But science is the best too we have for solving problems and understanding reality.
