That's because people GET the reactions.
You make fun of England you get "Ha, ha, bloody right, old chap!"
You make fun of Canada you get "Ha, ha, I'm sorry if I'm laughing too loud."
You make fun of Germans you get... ok Germans just go "Zat is nicht funny!" but they don't get offended.
But if you make fun of America, boy do jimmies get rustled.
That's why Americans get so much poked, because reactions are precious.

That's why Americans get so much poked, because reactions are precious.
Its the prideful thing about the american culture. Me, personally, I give my friends reacts when they tease me or something to get a good laugh but its always in good fun. But people do get their jimmies rustles because in a way they believe they are superior to everyone else. (this is coming from an american.) But even when they believe that they are "superior" much the same way a professional athelete thinks they are superior to amatures, most still recongnize basic human qualities. But yeah, people love rustleing america's jimmies.
