I tried doing this with my sister forever ago with our 64.
She always knew it wasn't plugged in, and tell my mom and get me in trouble.

>3 Year old cousin comes over
>He wants to play games with me
>I give him a controller with no battery life and continue on my way
>Spend about 2 hours playing
>Realize my movements aren't syncing with the controller movement
>Look at my controller
>It's not on

Did the same thing with my nephew
>be at my dad's wedding
>oldest sister brings her kid and i'm expected to babysit
>i plug in my x box and am playing Halo 3 online
>i had just started to play when he wakes up and asks to play
>being 4 and having no coordination i am not looking forward to it
>tell him sure he can play
>hand him an off control and take my one that's on to the loft above
>i play from up there while he thinks he's playing good
>after half of a match he figures out he isn't playing
>turns on his controller and figures out how to sign in
>welliguessthat'sthat.jpg
>after a few matches i notice he's getting better, and actually starting to hold his own
>he starts getting a positive KD spread and after a dozen or so matches he actually is doing better than me
>he was getting the top scores
>holy hell! i've found the rainman of Halo
>we game all day from morning well into the night with only game fuel and a pizza break to dilute our attention
>that night around 11 when his sister came back she saw her son playing Halo
>i get chewed out for letting him "learn how to become a murderer with guns and killing"
>calm down he's not learning anything bad that he wouldn't ge...
>"die you damn split jaw" he cried out
>.....sh*t...
>never got to babysit again

If I ever have kids, I will do this. They will think they are the best ever at Mass Effect 5.
TFW they realize their controllers aren't on.

So I'm sitting on the couch, babysitting my sisters (aged 3 and 5). The three year old is on an iPad (which she knows how to use almost as good as I do), when suddenly I hear a familiar noise coming from it.
"HEYAAAYAAAYAYA HEEEYAYA"

She found the video all by herself, I have no idea how. That night, instead of reading them a story before bed, we watched an episode of He-man.

You know I understand the baby not understanding that it isn't plugged in, but the grown man? He should know better by now.
