Umm... he's Sharkface, an Insurrectionist soldier on Red vs Blue. RvB's a machinima webshow that uses Halo to film.

I haven't kept up with RvB for like two or three years, and I don't really play the Halo games, so I assumed he was from the games.

Either way, total badass.

Yeah, he wasn't in the games, but Red vs Blue is pretty good now. It just finished Season 10, and they use CGI to animate awesome action sequences, like in the fight against Sharkface.

Personally, I didn't like Season 10 very much.

I felt like it and season 9 were just kinda showing off with the new technology. I was at least interested in Church finally putting his long story with Tex to rest, that was actually pretty good. But Season 10, I dunno...

I felt like it spent a very long time building up to a very disappointing climax. I didn't really understand any of the character's motivations; The Red's had no reason to hate the Blue's anymore after they worked together to beat the Meta, and since they were finally told that their whole fight was set up by the Director, and Sarge, who was supposed to have had a major epiphany in Season 8 immediately goes back to being his old "I hate Blues!" type of character, even though he had grown out of the in Season 8's finale.

I hated Agent Carolina; I think her existence was just a silly plot device meant to keep the show running for lack of of a better plan, and as a replacement for Tex who had FINALLY been essentially written out of the show. She was bitter and bitchy, walking in and demanding everyone to do what she says even they had no reason to other than the threat of physical violence, which is a stupid, completely invalid source of motivation in a show of this type.

Furthermore, Church's scene where he freaks out at the rest of the Blood Gulch crew for not wanting to come with him and Carolina was completely uncalled for. He acted as though they all owed him some big favor, and that they were somehow 'in it together' even though none of the other's really had any reason to go after the Director. Sure, they might have been put there by him in the first place, but they knew that they were just going to go back to doing the same old crap afterwards anyway, so what did it matter to them whether the Director was dead or alive?

I dunno, I love Red vs Blue, I really do, but I was not happy with Season 10 at all. I'm worried about what the future will bring, and I never though I'd say that about RvB.

And it's not even like I just hate the new stuff; Seasons 6 and 8 were by far my favorite seasons of the entire show. Season 8 had some very tasteful use of CGI (Although, as much as everyone else liked it, I thought the Tex vs Reds&Tucker fight was a little silly; another example of the RT team just showing off.) and Season 6 had a fantastic plot driving it. Season 9 and 10 just... started to drop off, and I wasn't overwhelmed with them. I dunno, I don't know what they're thinking,planning on continuing. It's over, or at least it should be. I get that it's popular, and that it's kind of the driving force of their site. I understand the sentimental value of it, not to mention the considerable financial value of it, but every show has to end eventually.
