Got this one too, the feeling between the fingers is a bit weird IMO (there's a kind of anti-slip product on it), but I like it :)

just play with it for 5 minutes and it goes away because of the sweat on your fingers

I almost gagged a little

those and the grey ones.... *shudders*

you have horrible taste in picks

I use yellow or orange tortex picks. Love the feel and high visibility is also a plus

Got these from my gf as birthday present last year. Some of the best picks I ever used!

You know, I'm fairly new to playing guitar and I have a bag of ten or so picks. I have two Tortex ones, but I don't really get the difference between picks. What makes these so good?
User avatar #45 to #41 - tkfourtwoone ONLINE (01/17/2013) [-]
Insanely better grip and the good, pointy "nose".

Well, if you're into electric guitar & rock/metal, anyway.

Oh, I play acoustic. I just tried it out, and it doesn't sound as good to me for some reason. Sounds... harsher? I have a very thin one I've been using and I don't really like any of the others as well. Not sure why, maybe it's all in my head haha.

i really love those standard picks from Fender for strumming chords.
they're flexible, yet stable and pointy enough to mix things up.

this is just my opinion ofcourse

Well, let me just put it like this: if you just want to strum chords, a more flexible pick is welcome.
But if you want to pick individual strings, with a clear and distinct sound, a sturdy pick is needed.
