It works, but not by your instructions. For the David Star to work, the turning angle has to be acute, under 90 degrees, if you do a 120 degree angle, the first step would fail because you would NEED an acute angle.
Works perfectly for the Swastica at 90 degrees.

the inside of the point of the star is an acute angle (60 degrees actually) but our robot friend would have to spin 120 degrees, look

Aah nice explanation, I was thinking more on the lines of only drawing 120 degree angles.
But then it just makes me think of why the robot even has to be involved.

yeah, instructions like the one in the post are a type of coding language (logo is probably the biggest)

for drawing technical diagrams, when I was learning how to use it I imagined I was running along with a paint roller behind me so I could visualise how I had to turn.
