It's pretty sweet here in Australia too, we don't really tip since their pay is much better.
I hear minimum wage sucks ass over in America, some people even work solely on tips.

There is, but employers can pay their workers less if they can get tips. Minimum wage where I live is a little more than $9/ hour, but some waitresses I know only get $6 or $7/ hour because they can get tips.

Oklahoma minimum wage is 7.65 an hour, if you are a server or other tip dependant personel they can pay you as little as 3.25 an hour.

How was that relevant? I make 10 dollars an hour doing construction. I have never been a waiter, and I never plan on it.
