I concur with you McBalls. Why? My friends and I average about smoking once a week to simply have a good time. We don't harm anyone, nor do we do anything stupid such as driving while under the influence. We know our limits and simply stick to things we enjoy. Being high simply makes it more enjoyable. We don't let it affect our daily lives or let it screw up our priorities. Also some like to argue that pot smokers only have fun when they're high, which is also not true. We frequently watch movies, go snowboarding, go to theme parks, etc while being completely sober and have a great time. Perhaps you've been meeting the wrong weed users nyxie

I'm an occasional "pot head" that can not STAND other "pot heads".

Especially the ones over 22 years of age that still brag about smoking marijuana as if it's still "cool".

I have also met a lot of retarded weed addicts. If they don't get their weed they become complete nerve spazzes, always freaking the fuck out about anything, like they are gonna have a heart attack any moment. I've only met like... 2... persons that genuinely smoke weed for recreational purposes and not some addictive/religious/bullshit reason.

benefits? eh.. well it can increase your creative ability (but only if you're creative in the first place), so there's that.

negative effects? well, any form of smoke is bad for your lungs and your heart, so there's also that.

as far as killing brain cells, occasional marijuana use does not correlate with a drop in IQ, however excessive use DOES (excessive meaning a certain number of joints per week that I can't remember off of the top of my head. probably at least 6 marijuanas (that's a joke)).

I've never smoked weed, so I'm just quoting what I've read from scientific research papers
