Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk, and Assassins Creed did this, why don't people get butthurt about that?

Assassin's Creed was a good series, it has a story, as the user below posted.
Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk aren't games that are MEANT to have a story line. They're a new game with different elements to make you play it.
Call of Duty just has a bad storyline, so that's why it isn't a good game.

Literally every popular sequel does this. If they don't, people hate it. Call of Duty just gets an insane amount of hate because of the insufferable fans. It's still a fairly decent series, all things considered. Fuck Black Ops though. That's the Sonic 06 of FPSes.
Haven't seen many glitches outside of Zombies, and they patch them if there are. Story, I enjoyed, Plot twists were predictable though. As for the MP, that's all a majority of people get CoD for. Some don't even touch the campaign. The only thing I didn't like about the sounds was that the suppressors all sounded the same, and that some of the reload noises sound like they were made out of plastic
I want to play a game for the story and immersion, fuck me right? That's one of the sad things about games now. Can't play a fantasy game without faggy magic, can't play a nice shooter without shitty MP taking all the resources and attention.
Also, a lot of magazines are. Most of the sounds sounded fairly similar to the rifles I've shot with plastic mags, so I'd say they did a good job in that area.

There may not be as many, but there are some around. Just need to look hard enough. Although it does suck that the developers are just doing it for money now, as to back then when they made games that will be played countless times
Did they have plastic mags during the cold war?
Treyarch does do a good job of recording gun noises. They actually set up mics at varying distances so you get a feel for distance in the game. Really good job too

You're probably right, but I am limited in both money and technological resources. If it's not on xbox, or doesn't have REALLY low settings for the PC, it's out of my reach.
You know, I really don't know, that's a good question. That might have been an oversight on their part. You're right, they do a great job sound wise. I wonder if they did binaural recording? I love that, it's great for immersion.

Same here, which is why I usually look them up before I get them. I also have a xbox, but the disc tray is stuck, so I only have Skyrim to play now, aside from the PSP. As for the PC, same as well. However, Newegg sells DIY computers. The one I want is around $750, which is http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1068930 only the OS is needed(aside from keyboard, mouse and monitor, but I'll just reuse the ones I have) There are others as well
