Goodbye, old friend.

As most of you probably already know, roughly a week ago, the legendary Playstation 2 finally ceased production. For those of you ignorant to the phrase, it means they are no longer being made. Now, most of you probably don't care, but for those of you who grew up on this system like I did, it is probably quite sad to see an old friend go. This system is easily the best game system ever made, hands down, and I'd say back in its glory days, easily 80-90 percent of homes in North America had one of these babies.

I've recently come down with an illness and will be taking a chunk of time off. So I've decided to do my own little tribute to my old friend, my still perfectly working PS2, which to this day is still hooked up in my room here and played regularly.

See these games? This is my current Playstation 2 game collection. What am I going to do with them you ask? Over the next week, I'm going to try to beat/complete every single one of them, starting today.

This is where you come in. I want your opinions. Where do I start? What game first? Last? Got any specific order I should play in? Have any memories to share regarding them? Hell if I had the equipment I'd record the whooole damn thing (But I don't)

I want your input. Help me give this legendary console the sendoff it deserves. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm sure the PS2 would be quite touched if it had an emotion chip.

P.S: Yes, I am perfectly aware Final Fantasy's 7 & 8 are there. No I don't care. I feel they belong there. Yes I do have 9 somewhere, my bed only had so much room though.

P.S .S: The games that you can't see due to the light at the top are Spongebob Squarepants The Movie (the game obviously), Medal of Honour: Frontline, Resident Evil 4, and Legacy of Kain: Defiance

Reminisce with me ladies and gentlemen, for old times sake.

Just becouse it isn't in production doesn't mean you can't stop playing with it.

Or buying games for it.

80-90% of American homes had a PS because in those days because they had no idea how to operate a PC

"This system is easily the best game system ever made"... Ahem! Once again, PC.
