Because being in the army is a more con
troll
ed environment that is designed to teach you self discipline and skill in combat situations whereas a video game kills the senses in the frontal lobe and make you more emotionless towards the loss of human life? maybe?
This coming from a very avid gamer by the way.

i can see that but at the same time killing a human is still killing a human, and you have a good possibility of being killed yourself. also they dont give a **** if youre underage theyll let u drink. at least from what i understand

It does improve hand-eye coordination and general awareness (possible reaction time) but it does not improve your eye sight (all televisions emit radiation that damages the eyes) and what I stated was it's effect on the brain. Video games generally cause an increase in aggression and a decrease in responsive activity from the brain when considering the loss of human life (that, of course, depends on what games you play but the content is aiming at war games).

More than half of that was completely irrelevant. I just said that we are talking about war games, that is what the post is about and those cause aggression and a diminished sense of morality involving human life. Your arguments for any other games is useless and I already mentioned it in the comment before yours. There was no point at all in typing it.
I countered with the worsened eye sight because you said it "improves your sight" but it does not. Whether a tiny bit or a lot, it makes your eye sight slowly worse.

Uhm. No. Just... No.
The military is a place where you learn that the difference between Justice and Murder is merely government order, and video-games are pretty much not a part of your emotional response to human death in any way or form. If you believe what science tells us, anyway.

Murder is taking a life for a negative purpose (desire for killing, revenge, etc). Justice has always been about the majority or government order. That is how justice came to exist.
Also scientific research shows that the human brain has certain reactions and activities when the concept of another humans death is introduced. The response is significantly stifled after long periods of video games. Death of another person becomes mundane or even glorified (especially with movies). It is the same as brain activity being slowed or stopped when watching television.
