Close, you can be 16 to be in the reserves (but many recruiting centers say 17 for some reasons). But I believe you can't be deployed until you're 18.

On two occasions, Quebec has voted to separate from the rest of Canada. The first vote was lost by a lot, but the second one was only lost by 0.1%. So Canada was damn close to losing a province. The ongoing joke in Canada is that all people from Quebec want to separate.
