I was to some courtyard in venice, there was one statue which got my attention. Bear in mind that this was a nicely carved statue in the finest stone.
To first glance i tough it was 2 naked young boys raping a mermaid(not kidding).
Why anyhow would have something that looked like that is out of my mind.

Huh, apparently the internet existed in a different form back then... Dose this mean we've entered a second dark age?
People will teach their children thousands of years from now about today "No one knows what the fuck happened to human civilization at that time, we just know they were very disturbed."

I guess the first one is related to the idea of hell. That is because in early medieval times one big part of hell is were satan is shitting on the souls in hell.
