I grew up with this beautiful beast, ever since getting it when I was 6 years old on Christmas. Now it joins my Super Nintendo in the eternal slumber. What are your dead console stories, FJ?

disc tray no longer able to read discs. It
was jammed for a long time, and could
not be fixed back into position. It' s
been a long; hard war, but this soldier
has fought his last battle.

My NES still works (after blowing on it for 2 minutes)

My DS lite top screen is literally hanging off by a single wire and it still works
My GBA SP still works

After my PS2 slowly submerged itself into the sweet bliss we call death, I was deeply upset. Then my mother drug me to a yard sale and under neath the piles of crap, was a PS2, still in the box. It was marked to 5$ and as I thought to myself, "Damn, I'm gonna buy the shit out of this PS2." As I made my purchase, the old woman glared at me and said, "My son wasted his life on that thing." Oh, I know he did.
