People like doing things illegal. Remember Prohibition? People continued to, or drank MORE because it was illegal. If pot was legalized, people would stop doing it and start doing more dangerous things...like crack and heroin.

I smoke weed because it's an enjoyable drug, not because it's illegal. I don't do crack nor cocaine as i hate syringes for starts, and cocaine is the most over-rated drug ever, you get more of an effect from sniffing glue.

Not everyone smokes it to look rebellious and edgy, some of us just like it.

Really?

Did you know that a hundred years ago heroin was legal.
And back then, there twice as many users (per capita).
Doesn't really work with your theory, because when it was made illegal, the number of users should've gone up, not down.
