We hardly lead the world...To lead you must produce. We do not. We consume and rely on the trade of other nations that manufacture. Our currency isn't even a valid currency. We will only survive for as long as other nations still hold our "currency" as the world reserve currency. Once they do not, our power, our money, our food and everything will end and the people will suffer. Right now we keep the image of a leading superpower, but anyone with brains understand it is a facade and at any time can change. The more debt we allow, the quicker we plummet. If you thought what is happening to Greece is bad, just wait and see what will happen in the US over the next 10 years and hopefully not sooner. Greece will get worse, and whatever you see happen will be tenfold in the US. We are in dark times already, we are approaching catastrophe.
