You can express that you're a girl, as long as it's part of a relevant story or idea that's interesting. Like, not exploiting your gender for thumbs but indirectly implying it, for example, when telling the tale of the weirdest way you've ever been hit on.

Which would mean that it is neccesary for what you are saying.
I.e. you don't need to say "AS A GIRL, I can TOTALLY agree with this! I just walk around naked!"
You can say "Yeah most girls just walk around naked in their house lol"
So I'm just agreeing with you btw

it's all rolling and spamming now
I actually don't get red thumbs that often. Every once in a while I apparently make bad ones, sometimes good ones. But most are average. And as for the girl thing, I don't have duck lips. That's just my mouth when I don't smile. And I use some variation of "danniegurl" for everything. I've used it since fifth grade and it's easy to remember, so it's really not like I did it for the site.
No, we like girls.
(If you're calling people here gay and making fun of them for it, go back to 5th grade.)
Just no one really cares if you're a girl on the internet. You just a person. On the internet.
If you really wanna go exploit your gender and get attention for it, go play Call of Duty so the 12 year old kids there can get raging boners because a girl is actually talking to them.

I wasn't meaning to imply anything about gayness. And I realize the other thing, but it was never my intention to exploit my gender, like I said, that's the name I use for everything. Now, may I ask you: If they really didn't care, then why do they react that way to girls?
If they really didn't care then why did they freak out over my comment, which merely expressed how I identified with the picture, and how I did so. I never said something trying to draw attention to my gender. It was just implied by the post.

No, her response question is legitimate. I don't see why she should be thumbed down. If people are honestly indifferent to girls on the internet, then they just wouldn't have thumbed her down. There's a leap from "neutral" to "I dislike this".
