I had this happen to one of my dogs found her floating one day. Another got sick while I was moving I drove back home a 2 day drive just to say goodbye before they put him under.

My 9 year old dog died of a seizure on Thanksgiving. Needless to say, I wasn't prepared..

I should have been prepared too, we scheduled to put him down, he was old, blind, deaf, no teeth, crazy tumors growing on him. But no apparently it couldn't wait and he fucking drowned in the pool in the middle of the night alone and helpless. If fate exists I'm going to kick it in the balls one day, no one, animal or man should endure all that and have to die like that.
