One is a group of unauthorized protesters, the others are people behind a crowd barrier. The bottom picture says "banned in hollywood". So it's safe to assume it's a special event, and not an illegal protest. Also not in Canada.

The hippies deserved it, and the picture from Canada clearly isn't a protest of any kind. A hockey riot would probably be more accurate.
