It sounds real, like the story, but also if it was real they'd state where he is, so people can watch out.

I think the story was way too detailed, saying so much about Jeff personally that it left it looking fake.

And who told the story? did his brother actually go to sleep so Jeff spared him?

The story was told by the person who made it up, someone just wrote it. It's fake. And how am I suppose to know if he spared him? That was the end of the story.
