In the movies, yes. It's a shame they did that, because in the books, Frodo actually had balls. It was difficult for him, but taking the ring to Mordor was his own decision. In the movies, he was a wet blanket, and Sam was the one who dragged him along everywhere.

We didn't in the book, very much. But even during the Battle of the Shire, he was this pansy who went around making sure people weren't killed and such like that. I couldn't help but smirk when I found out that Saruman's throat was slit on his doorstep... I wonder if he ever got the stain out, the little prude.
