speaking of long pants, two summers ago, I was in my room playing video games while standing up, and I was wearing jeans at the time. I thought I felt something on my foot, but I didn't care because I had some fucking zombies to blow up. you know, whatevs.

anyhoo, I'm playing this game for another 10 minutes or so, and I think I feel something again. no, I DEFINITELY feel something this time. holy shit, what is that? it's all the way up my leg!

now, as I already said, I'm wearing jeans. I can't just scrape off whatever is on me, and moving. I have to shake my leg and hope it falls out. luckily, it does fall out (after some intense shaking), and lo and behold, it's a fucking giant-ass cockroach. nope.jpeg. I immediately jump onto my bed and get into the fetal position and begin to cry (that thing was touching me, man).

wait... it's moving again.. oh yeah, perfect. IT FUCKING FLIES. THE MOTHERFUCKER IS AS BIG AS MY HAND AND IT FUCKING FLIES.

I slept downstairs for 2 nights.

Cockroaches are actually extremely clean insects due to their incessant cat-like grooming habits. And yes, some genera of cockroaches have fully functioning wings.
No one should be scared of roaches, they keep your house clean from dirt, skin particles, and some other insects.

It was thanking you for giving it food and a home. At least that's what you should tell yourself. Cockroaches are entirely harmless my friend. Sure you don;t want a crap ton of them in your house but a few is actually very beneficial.

If you want an insect with long legs to adore check out some Tipulidae files or the Harlequin Longhorn Beetle :)

Good choice. It's a diverse field but one of the most popular. I"m specializing in mycology (the study of fungus) at Colby Sawyer College. Not only because I love mushrooms, but you can do so much with it: pharmacological/ medical research, materials sciences, environmental restoration, etc.

What can I say? I'm a fungi, though there's not mushroom in that field.

isopod is a species of sea crustacean ad the giant isopod isi just an overgrown one. They are carnivores though, and have adapted to eat whatever falls on the sea floor, which includes dead whales. So are they above eating a human? i think not.
