Canada's military was active in every theatre of war, though most battles occurred in Italy,[4] Northern Europe,[5] and the North Atlantic.
Over the course of the war, 1.1 million Canadians served in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Of these more than 45,000 lost their lives and another 54,000 were wounded.[6] The financial cost was $21,786,077,519.13, between the 1939 and 1950 fiscal years.[7] By the end of the War, Canada had the world's fourth largest air force,[8] and third largest navy.[9] As well, the Canadian Merchant Navy completed over 25,000 voyages across the Atlantic.[10] Canadians also served in the militaries of various Allied countries.
By D-Day, June 6, 1944, the landings at Normandy were accomplished by two beachheads made by the American forces at Omaha and Utah, two by British forces, Sword and Gold, and a final one at Juno made by the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division.

I personally think the single thing that could scare every country ******** , woudl be Canada vs Finland in hockey.

I can just imagine Sweden, America, Sealand, France and Britain bursting into the room and screamign for everyone to hide if they want to live.

Currently Canada is in a feud with the EU, Russia and The United States over the ownership of the land north of our countries. There is a gap between all the islands that is large enough to be considered out of the country. Since the Ice is melting there is an opportunity to use this passage for trade via ships as it is a very large passage. Also the vast amount of possible resources in the Arctic Circle is enormous and they all want a piece of it. Canada can not send any military ships up there to patrol as they cannot break the ice so they have a group of Inuit volunteers called the Rangers who patrol on snow mobiles and are armed with single shot WW1 rifles. Also there is a world court thing between Russia and Canada about ownership of the Arctic Circle this year.

TL;DR: Canada is fighting for the northern islands considered part of the country

I are Canadian and this is what we learn about

Americans are stupid, they think they were the only one in the allied forces, The allies were not america, the allies were Few from the south america, and yes, canada, and others in europe. I'm pretty sure that the numbers of soldiers that helped USA were greater than the numbers of americans soldiers. Now **** off with your **** that Canada doesn't have any military. Every great country does.

Little does anyone care
but Canada and Denmark are actually involved in the most tame war on record over Hans Island.
A small 1.3 square KM directly between Greenland and Ellsemere island of Canada.

jesus christ america is so ignorant.. bring the sea of red thumbs but grow the **** up all of you, we have a great military, and a better education system than you + free healthcare

It's considered free because you don't have to pay 20,000$ for every surgery and shtuff, but instead like 10 bucks off your weekly pay, depending on your tax bracket.
So yea you pay like 1000$ a year roughly for healthcare that won't bankrupt you.
Unlike America.

I have a confession..I bullied a Canadian once because they were Canadian ..He eventually caved in and apologized for being Canadian...I'm just so gosh darn sorry...I was young and full of trans fatty rich Mcdonalds...Waving my bullets and multiple automatic rifles. Forgive me Canadian...Forgive me.
