Why would you be a heavy armored archer?

well idk i am too. i just think about in caves theres not a lot of room to be far away from someone to shoot, so when you kill all person they all rush at you. without heavy armor youd be screwed

I wear heavy armour and specialise in using bows, I think I only wear the armour for saftey, I feel more exposed without it!

I don't know, it sounds pretty hardcore. And a crossbow could work out fabulously.

You don't give a dragon's tale after you've sold your soul to get level 100 everything like a dumbass.

Like me.

I use heavy armor because the Steed stone allows me to wear it without weight problems, and I use Archery because it's fun and probably the only thing in the game that really takes skill.

because he plays on an easy difficulty and has to be within five feet of his target to sot them in the head

If you raise your heavy armor enough, you can get the perk where it doesn't weigh anything which is better than light armor.

Level 50 Light Armor has the same perk.

Yeah but heavy armor protects more.

theres an armor cap, and with light armor you can hit it so heavy armor is completly pointless

Light allows a 10% chance to dodge and huge stamina boost. Plus archers aren't supposed to get close enough to take damage.

My current skyrim character is wearing full daedric (only level 50 heavy armor, level 20 light) and i have 100 archery, sneak, and pickpocket. If i accidentally get into close combat, i can just tank the damage and continue using a bow.

My damage with melee and magic is complete ****.

Well, of course. Once you max one of them out, it doesn't matter if you picked the less authentic armor set, you're basically god.

I agree with you...Though heavy armor is better (and i'm level 54 and have mastered both completely), I still prefer to wear light armor around. Though these days, now that nothing can kill me and i'm good enough to win huge fights even on master difficulty, I run around in Dwarven armor because I look like a badass and I have the +25% armor passive perk thing. Also it matches my enchanted enhanced dwarven crossbow

You just need to level up more or get better armor and you'll be way more confident. It's really nothing to worry about if you're prepared well.

I don't really want to. If i were to change than i would go to magic.

Nah, becaus ethe you'll basically be starting from scratch with leveled enemies and then you'd actually have to worry about it. Unless you count being a worrier as a good thing.

Yes, whenever I play an rpg that deals with combat, magic and archery (as the three general classes) I choose combat. I just like brute force.
