Can someone explain (save for the right to bear arms) how america has more freedom than any other country?

Did you not see that 100% Accurate film by Mel Gibson that totally got every feature right and did not create and spread stereotypes about scotland where scotland fought for freedom? I mean, we're still part of the UK, but y'know, we have deep fried mars bars, so **** you

Well, at the time of our creation, the United States was probably the only country that did not have a monarch, we choose our presidents and our representatives. This is a privilege that not many other countries have.

The monarchy does **** all here... we still have elected leaders. I think that we could be stronger without a monarchy but at the same time I don't feel any less free because we do.

Are you kidding me? Back then, a king served for life. If he wanted to make a new church, he could. And above all that, he could persecute/imprison anyone for their beliefs.

At the time of the American Revolution, parliament had already become fairly powerful within the British government, and the King was subject to rule of law. People had basic rights. Granted, you couldn't vote if you didn't own land, but the same was true of the U.S.

Fair enough then, but how is it any more free now?

The kings and queens had total control of the government. If they wanted to ban a religion, kick out a religious group/ethnic minority or create new laws, you better believe they could do it.

I personally think that the US system is a LOT better, primarily because all the power isn't focused on one person.
